Get High on Hope is a 4-week online course that teaches you why some people are full of hope, ideas and inner strength to move through any obstacles – and how you can become one of those people. If you’re feeling pessimistic or uninspired by your career or the world around you, this course is for you.
About one and a half years ago, I was struggling. I had recently moved to a new city in a new country where I knew almost no one. I had uprooted myself and my business and felt lost. My past professional choices felt out of place in this new environment, and I was afraid of losing clients since I wasn’t available for physical interactions anymore.
I had taken a massive leap of faith, and the unknown felt scary.
I lost connection with my wellness routines, suffered from loneliness, and started adopting cynical views of the world around me. I struggled to make friends and after several people ghosted me on the friendship app Bumble BFF, I saw myself losing faith in the kindness and authenticity of people. Because I had suffered from depression in the past, I was afraid of where this negative energy might take me.
Being the optimistic and positive person I am, I knew something was off. I had no choice but to take my suffering seriously.
I started by returning to small routines, such as sitting in a park and listening to a meditation (even when I didn't feel like it). I got my a*s back into a yoga studio. I got an expensive membership to a coworking space. I started consuming more spiritual content. I listened to music. I invested in 1-2-1 coaching. I started a project to rediscover my professional identity and created a new project around it.
It was a combination of changing my beliefs, surrounding myself with the right content, committing to my well-being, and finding new goals that inspired me. These lifted me up and brought back what I later realised I had lost for a while: hope. Because I shifted my energy, things started shifting for me.
I started seeing new opportunities.
I made a friend who truly cared about me.
I reconnected with my sense of ambition and drive.
This experience taught me that hope is conceived in the mind and in the body. And that by tapping into hope we tap into our inner resources. I now believe hope is the single most important contributor to our success.
This is why I want to share everything I’ve learned with you. So that you can start using hope as your Northern Star and find greater satisfaction with life and your career.

Tools and strategies for a life grounded in hope
This is a mindset development course that it helps you adopt a new way of thinking and approaching any challenges you might be facing. The course gives you:
an understanding of the psychology and science behind hope
strategies & daily and weekly practices to cultivate a hopeful, expansive mindset where all your dreams and aspirations are possible
strategies to combat the negativity that arises from the news and/or people around you
the tools to set hopeful goals and achieve them
strategies to stay hopeful when things don’t go as planned
The purpose of this course is to make hope run through you in such a way that you can become an inspiration to yourself and others around you.
Living from a space of hope can help you see opportunities is new places and give you the confidence to approach them in creative ways.
This is not another wishful thinking or mindless manifestation workshop
With a long background in science writing and journalism, my work stems from a large body of science and research.
Research shows that a greater sense of hope is associated with:
better physical health and health behavior outcomes (e.g., reduced risk of all-cause mortality, fewer chronic conditions, and fewer sleep problems)
higher psychological wellbeing (e.g., increased positive affect, life satisfaction, and purpose in life)
lower psychological distress, and better social wellbeing
better outcomes in academics, athletics, physical health, psychological adjustment, and psychotherapy

My dedication to research and science is be combined with my dedication to philosophy and spiritual development. I know that hope resides at the intersection of our logical mind and our inner wisdom. By cultivating both we can create a presence that is grounded in long-lasting, embodied hope and not just an intellectual understanding of it.
That is why I won’t bore you with too much theory but encourage you to work on activating hope in your life, in your body and in your soul in a way that creates long-lasting results.
How the course works
This 4-week course includes four weeks of theory, practice, and meditations designed to help you achieve a hopeful state of mind and body.
The course includes:
Weekly wisdom sessions
Weekly action sessions
Meditations (to be done 3–7 times/week, according to your preference)
Journalling practices
This course is designed to be completed alongside your busy life. You can complete the material even if you just have 2 hours per week to dedicate to it. I will give you further guidance on time management in the course materials. You’ll have access to the course for 6 weeks so if you’re going on a holiday or have other commitments, no need to worry.
Why I created this course
My name is Aurora Airaskorpi, and I’m High on Hope’s founder. I created this course because I believe we could all use a little more hope in this world. Also, the concept of hope brings together topics and philosophies that I believe in and have found useful on my own path. By topics and philosophies I mean scientific research on hope, human psychology, societal and socio-psychological research and spiritual teachings. I want to share the teachings and theories that I have found helpful and communicate them in a way that makes them approachable and easy to use in real life settings.
Who am I to offer this material? I have over 10 years of experience helping people actualise their projects, explore creative thinking, develop a deeper connection to themselves and explore new paths in their careers. I’ve published two books on how to manage the pressures of working life whilst staying true to your ambitions and taking care of yourself. I also have an extensive background in working with scientists and helping them communicate their work.
I hold degrees in social sciences, coaching, and yoga. Before embarking on my coaching career, I held managerial positions within creative agencies, specialising in science and sustainability communications. Furthermore, I have worked as an independent writer and journalist, expanding my horizons and garnering a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives.
